Sponsored Breakout: Introducing Tested Body Image Resources for Schools
Thursday October 10, 2024 8:30am - 9:30am PDT
Body dissatisfaction is a significant risk factor for mental health issues such as eating disorders and depression. Our presentation introduces BodyKind, a high school body image curriculum that in recent trials was found to increase students’ body appreciation. Participants will recognize how their own values and attitudes regarding body image and eating habits can influence students. They will also learn to teach self-care behaviors related to food, body, and eating.
