Stanford University has engaged in a number of long-term partnerships with local school districts to build district capacity to support youth mental health and wellbeing. A central part of this effort has involved engaging youth voice as a strategy for better understanding and addressing the challenges youth experience. In this session, participants will learn more about program partners have engaged in Youth Participatory Action Research as a key strategy for advancing organizational efforts to improve mental health and wellbeing, and how this strategy can be adapted to other contexts.
