About me
Kendra Mulder is a Lexington,KY native who received her undergraduate degree in Family Sciences, Masters in Social Work, and Doctorate of Social Work at the University of Kentucky. Kendra began her social work career as a Foster Care Specialist and worked for the Department of Community-Based Services as a family social worker. Upon graduating with her Masters in 2019, Kendra accepted a position with Fayette County Public Schools as a Mental Health Specialist. Kendra now serves as a Mental Health Coachfor Fayette County School's District Support Team.
In addition to working with Fayette County Public Schools, Kendra also runs a therapeutic private practice in which she primarily serves African American and Hispanic clients who are experiencing adverse symptoms related to anxiety and depression. Kendra also serves as a part-time instructor in the College of Social Work at the University of Kentucky. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Kendra’s passion is ensuring that people of color have access to affordable and culturally relevant mental health services.
