As an Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker and motivational speaker, Tricia weaves a raw narrative of making movies, mothering, mental health and resilience. Her work challenges stereotypes and shines light on social justice issues such as workers’ rights, immigration reform, the power of women and girls and how artists are catalysts for change in our communities. As Co-Founder of PowerHouse, a creative workspace for women+ entrepreneurs in downtown San Jose, Tricia pioneers the way for women, people of color and youth to amplify their voices and claim their power through creative expression. With over 20 years of experience in mothering and media production, Tricia intertwines personal growth with professional success and finds meaning in the chaos of creation.
