About me
As an educational leader with a passion for promoting student behavioral health, I bring over 20 years of experience in teaching and administration across diverse educational settings. I hold an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership for Social Justice, an M.Ed. in Cross Cultural Teaching, and a B.A. in Philosophy. My work centers on creating inclusive and supportive learning environments that enhance the behavioral health and well-being of both students and faculty.
My expertise lies at the intersection of education law, policy, and ethical decision-making. I focus on how these areas shape behavioral health support, including the impact of legal frameworks on student rights and the responsibilities of educational institutions. My research includes the development of equitable intervention strategies and an exploration of bullying and cyberbullying, emphasizing the need for robust policies that safeguard students in both physical and digital spaces.
With certifications in Youth Mental Health First Aid, Adult Mental Health First Aid, and a Professional Certification in Trauma & Resilience, I am dedicated to equipping educators with the tools they need to effectively support student and faculty well-being.
