About me
UYENMY NGUYEN, LMFT (they/she) is a proud queer & second-generation Vietnamese-American who is passionate about advancing social justice through the lens of art, healing, and working in community. UyenMy has provided counseling & case management services to the Southeast Asian Community in various non-profits/schools in the Bay Area since 2012-2019. UyenMy also received their Masters in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Expressive Arts Therapy from California Institute of Integral Sciences. Since moving to Stockton in 2019, UyenMy achieved their clinical Licensure in Marriage & Family Therapy and has been providing psychotherapy to young children, youth, & their families. UyenMy is also a proud Board Member of Empowering Marginalized Asian Communities (EMAC) - a non-profit striving to support the Southeast Asian community through transformative justice, culturally rooted healing, communal resiliency, and collective liberation.
